In this project I am investigating my memories of my upbringing. I explore the ability to shift perspective, which is leading in this project. By reliving and revisiting the memories and spaces
in which they occurred, I am trying to get a grip on my form of remembering. Memories are formed in the mind, automatically. They are translations of an experience which is believed to be memorable. I question why and when something is memorable. When remembering, a new narrative of an experience is created. Every time you remember, the narrative changes. When revisiting the same memory, new details are revealed.
